    NATIONAL CHILD EXPLOITATION AWARENESS DAY
    Today (18 March) is National Child Exploitation Awareness Day – a campaign to encourage everyone to spot the signs of abuse and sexual abuse in young people and so ultimately remove them from harm.

    Child exploitation is the manipulation and/or coercion of young people under the age of 18 in to sexual or criminal activity in return for gifts, money, food or accommodation.

    Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) or Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE) can take many forms and are often is indicators of wider child exploitation such as County Lines, trafficking and modern slavery. Despite this child exploitation remains an area of criminality that many people are not aware of

    Recruiting for Volunteer Police Cadets.
    If you are aged 13-16 and interested in becoming a Volunteer Police Cadet, we are recruiting now until the end of April.
    There are four cadet units based in Chippenham, Salisbury, Swindon and Trowbridge who meet for a programme of activity, information and fun on a weekday evening during term time. If you are successful in your application, you’ll find being a cadet gives you the chance to make new friends and develop knowledge and skills that will help make a make a difference to both yourself and your community.
    You will develop some of the skills that police officers need such as communication, interpersonal skills and team working. You will also be taught about community issues and local policing priorities, learn aspects of the law, police procedure and about the specialist units within Wiltshire Police.

    STREET RECORD CHURCH STREET - Justice Traffic- Vehicle1 pulled out of a junction and caused Veh2 to slam on his breaks, causing his son to jolt foward, Veh2 beeped his horn at Veh1, Veh1 then break hard for no reason causing Veh2 to slam breaks again, son again was jolted forward causing the seat belt to dig in his neck and Aggrieved person who has a prolapsed disk was in pain after this being aggravated.

    UPTON SCUDAMORE - Unknown suspect/s have taken two bollards and a log (tree stump) which were being used as defences in front of one of the Aggrieved person's fields to prevent vehicles getting in. The log was sawn up and removed.

    LONGBRIDGE DEVERILL – Reporting Person has left her mums address where she is house sitting to go to the shop. When she has returned she has noticed a serrated kitchen knife stuck in the tree stump in the garden where the car is parked. This has unsettled the Reporting Person

    CENTRAL CAR PARK - 3 x known males were seen on CCTV driving a car in the car park erratically, males have all failed RSA, males arrested
